Pacific Powertech supported Choice Properties REIT through an emergency equipment failure at 350 SE Marine Drive. We replaced a deficient medium-voltage minimum oil circuit breaker and out-of-tolerance electromechanical overcurrent relays with a modern medium-voltage vacuum circuit breaker and an SEL 751 feeder protection relay, along with a new battery bank and charger to complete the protection upgrade. During the multi-day shutdown, we delivered temporary power using multiple generators tied through an automatic transfer switch and step-up transformers to match site voltage, and completed full setup and testing to maintain reliable operation.
