Pacific Powertech supported Choice Properties REIT through an emergency equipment failure at 3185 Grandview Highway. We replaced a deficient medium-voltage minimum oil circuit breaker and out-of-tolerance electromechanical overcurrent relays with a modern medium-voltage vacuum circuit breaker and an SEL 751 feeder protection relay. A new potential transformer was installed to complete the protection system upgrade, and our team delivered all engineering and retrofit work—including new switchgear doors, relay settings and logic programming, and custom fabrication of a circuit breaker mount.
